How to measure – 3 quick steps
- Chest: wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and snug but not tight. Record the measurement in centimetres or inches.
- Waist (for longer tops and bodywarmers): measure around your natural waist where trousers sit, keeping the tape comfortable, not pulled tight.
- Sleeve length: with your arm relaxed at your side, measure from the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder and down to the wrist. For a simpler check, measure from shoulder point to wrist on a favourite jacket.
Tip: measure over a shirt if you normally wear shirts under your work top. If you plan to layer (hoodie under a jacket or bodywarmer over a sweatshirt), add 2-4cm to the chest measurement and consider sizing up.
Fit advice – interpreting common cuts
- Standard / regular: the most common fit for polos and work hoodies. Choose your usual size unless you want extra room for layers.
- Slim / athletic: closer to the body. If you prefer freedom of movement or will layer, size up one.
- Relaxed / full: roomier cut suitable for active work or heavy layers – your normal size usually gives a looser fit.

If you are buying for a team, collect chest and sleeve measurements from each person and match them to the product size chart before ordering. That reduces returns and helps guarantee consistent fit across a group.
